Cancellations
We require a minimum of three (3) weeks' notice prior to hatch date to cancel an order.
- Orders placed within three (3) weeks of the scheduled hatch date for an order, are subject to our cancellation policy (listed below), and require manager approval for cancellation.
- Orders cancellation requests, occuring less then three (3) weeks prior to the hatch date also require manager approval and are subject to the Abandoned Order Policy, please see Abanoned order policy below*
- Order cancellations within 3 weeks of the scheduled hatch date cannot be guaranteed regardless of when the order was placed.
For Large Value Orders (see definition below): If for any reason you need to cancel your order, we require:
• At least five (5) weeks' notice.
A Large Value Order is defined as the following:
1,000 or more Cornish Cross per season or 200 or more Cornish Cross per hatch date; 200 or more Egg Layer varieties, Freedom Rangers, Jackie Red Rangers, Straight Run/Dual Purpose varieties, or 100 turkeys.
Please note that all cancellations are handled on a case-by-case basis.
We reserve the right to update or revise our cancellation policy at anytime, with no prior notice given.
For all orders for which payment has already been processed, regardless of size, there will be a 10% cancellation fee , which will be retained upon refund of the order.
Order cancellation requests submitted within 3 weeks of the scheduled hatch date for the order will retain 50% of the total purchase price due to late cancellation notice.
*This cancellation fee covers the payment processing fee that we are charged for refunding an order, as well as our time to process and post back the refund and resell the chicks.
