Directions:
From the south on Looney Lane: Turn left at the white Jenks Hatchery Feed Warehouse sign, down the gravel driveway. DO NOT use the north driveway which has two white gates, this is an exit only driveway.
At the fork in the road, do not continue straight, this is a private field access road, Stay to the right at the fork. Follow the yellow sign arrow at the fork, pointing towards our warehouse facility. During harvest season (July-September) watch for farm equipment using the field access road. Farm equipment/seed trucks always have right of way
Stay to the right at the next arrow, and carefully proceed over the gravel bridge, being careful to stay between the marker cones which indicate the edges of the bridge. There is a yield sign just beyond the bridge. Oncoming traffic will yield to you, as you go up the hill after the bridge.
Continue up the gravel road, towards the warehouse. If you are lucky, a horse may come out to greet you. This is our neighbor's horse, not ours, please do not pet the horse unless given permission. Drive dead slow so as not to spook the horse.
At the arrow, stay to the left and follow the road to the Jenks Hatchery Feed Warehouse parking lot.
Park in the lot and go to the Jenks Hatchery van to retrieve your chick order.
For feed and supply orders, go to the warehouse door, to announce your arrival, then once given permission, you may back to the Customer Load Out Door, which is the second roll up door, which has a green sign on it, which says "back in for feed load out".
Point of sale and walk up orders on the day of chick pickup, are allowed, and even encouraged!
Additionally, if you just want to shop our warehouse store, feel free. The first door is for walk ups and leads to the check out counter/entrance to the store. Upon entry, you will notice our readerboard sign which lists our current feed and bedding prices.
We have a wide selection of feed, bedding (pine shavings), and poultry supplies (including brooding equipment, feeders, waterers, coop supplies, poultry remedies and OTC treatments, brooder starter kits, as well as electric and non-electrified poultry netting and fencing), all available for immediate purchase.
If you haven't already, feel free to take the virtual 3D tour and/or shop virtually by clicking on the Matterport 3D tour above.
After picking up your chick, feed, or supplies order, please turn around and head back out the way that you came in as the drive through exit is closed.
To Exit:
Look for the exit signs to point you back towards the way you came in. Watch for oncoming traffic, and yield. You can pull off by the yield sign to let oncoming traffic proceed up the driveway. Exit the way that you came in, by the white Jenks Hatchery Feed Warehouse sign, at the end of the long gravel driveway.
We look forward to seeing you again soon!
Please ensure that your feed order load is secured properly, prior to exiting our pickup facility. We will not be held responsible for an unsecured or improperly secured load. WATCH FOR FORKLIFT TRAFFIC/WAREHOUSE TRAFFIC/FARM EQUIPMENT, THEY ALWAYS HAVE RIGHT OF WAY. THIS IS A WORKING FARM.
