Chick Shipment Policy
Boxes come in 25, 50 and 100-count sizes. We take the utmost care in making sure that your order is filled correctly and that it is prepared for shipment according to local temperatures at both the source and destination locations, as well as along the shipping route. This will ensure that your chicks arrive to you in optimum condition.
During the winter and cool weather, we take extra precautions to keep your chicks warm during shipment, and during the summer or warmer weather, it is likely that we will pack your order with 20% fewer chicks per box, usually using one or more additional boxes.
Your chicks will depart from the USPS distribution center, and will be sorted to ensure that they are put on the correct delivery vehicle, or airline, to arrive to you in a timely manner.
Most USPS Priority Mail and USPS Priority Mail Express shipments arrive within 1-2 days after the hatch date.

We ship all of our poultry, same day as hatched, so as to ensure that your chicks spend the minimal amount of time possible in transit from us to you. This ensures quality.
Your chicks will arrive at your local post office.
We recommend contacting your post office to let them know that you have chicks that will be arriving soon.
The post office will call you once your chicks arrive, and will arrange a time with you to pick up your chicks.
They will be held until you pick them up and accept them from a USPS employee.
You MUST pick up your chicks at the post office. Our guarantee is void if your order of chicks is delivered to your physical shipping address.
Check to ensure that you received what you ordered and that no chicks are DOA. Be sure to do this BEFORE YOU LEAVE THE POST OFFICE.
If you do encounter an DOA's or miscounts/mistakes, please contact us, we will always make things right.
We guarantee that all of the poultry that we offer, is hatched and shipped by us, from our facility in Tangent, Oregon.
