Feeding Suggestions: Make all feed changes gradually. This is a complete and balanced ration. Feed chicks or broiler chickens from the first day on the farm. For best results, top dress poultry grit size 1 Starter on the feed for the first 7-10 days then provide free-choice access to a separate container of size 2 (3/16th”) hen grit for growing birds till week 7-10 then feed size 3 (5/16"). Transition to Quilted Barn Feed Co. Layer feed and supplement with oyster shell as the pullets begin to lay their first eggs. Provide plenty of fresh, clean water at all times. Do not feed moldy or insect infested feeds. For best storage of unused feed, keep bags in a cool dry location.
