Abandoned Order Policy

We take the health and safety of our chicks very seriously, and thus, may enact our Abandoned Order Policy, if we have reason to believe that the order may have become abandoned. 

If an order is not picked up from the post office before the end of the business day, on the day that it is received at the destination post office, our Abandoned Order Policy will take effect.

It is very important to pick up your order of chicks from your post office as soon as they arrive, to ensure best results are acheived. 

1) We will attempt to contact you twice by phone and once by email, if notified by the receiving post office that your order has not yet been picked up.

2) Contact must be made with the receiving post office confirming that you intend to pick up your order before the end of the business day. In the event that this is not possible, you must contact us regarding your intentions to retreive your order from the post office.

3) If contact is not made by the end of the business day with the receiving post office, you will forfeit your order, will not be refunded for your order, and we will make the necessary preparations to re-home the chicks immediately, authorizing the post office to take posession of the abandoned order.

4) We will then provide you with a Notice of Order Forfeiture email. We must receive correspondence back from you regarding the status of any future orders, by end of day next business day, or any future orders will be cancelled.
