Fertile Hatching Egg Policy

High quality fertile hatching eggs from the same stock and supply that we use to hatch our own chicks. These eggs are ready for your incubator!

Every week, a select number of fresh, fertile hatching eggs, straight from our breeder flocks, will be available for sale and can be pre-ordered. Select your desired breeds and pick them up from Jenks Hatchery Feed Warehouse in Tangent, Oregon, or choose to have them shipped to you by USPS (Free Shipping included!)

Want to have any breakage or damage incurred during transit, covered? Please purchase our add-on fertile hatching egg insurance. 

With our fertile hatching egg insurance, available for purchase during checkout, any and all breakage and apparent damage incurred during shipment is covered.

Simply send us pictures of any broken eggs in your shipment, in the original packaging, and we will refund you for the broken eggs. You MUST provide photos immediately upon arrival, if you wish to use your insurance coverage. Photos can be sent to 541-527-7175, or sales@jenkshatchery.com.

If your shipment arrives as a total loss, provided that pictures, for verification purposes are supplied, we will refund or reship your order, no questions asked. Should you decide to add insurance to your fertile hatching egg order after placing your order, but before shipment, please give us a call at 541-928-8928. We charge $15.00/dozen eggs for shipment insurance.

Orders which ship and do not carry our fertile hatching egg insurance, are NOT protected against breakage and shipment damage, and thus will NOT be eligible for refund, credit, or free replacement.

At anytime, refund or credit amount shall not exceed the original purchase price.

Due to the many adverse and variable conditions which hatching eggs may encounter during transit and incubation, we make no guarantee of minimum hatchability or fertility.

We do however, guarantee that you will receive the same eggs as we hatch, from our premium quality production flocks.
