NoShock™ Chick Fence
- Regular price $74.93
Why NoShock Chick Fence?Because some folks watch their birds during the day and move them inside at night. They can successfully use a fence that is nonelectrified. Also, some municipalities do not allow electric fence in backyards. Allows young birds to forage outside when they're too small for standard PoultryNet.
Temporary—How to use…Use as a day pen. Set up with 48" NetPosts or 48" FiberTuff™ Posts or build a collapsible wood frame to support the fence. Bring birds outside in the day, return them at night. Also use to keep free-range flocks out of flower beds, gardens, patios, roadways, etc.
- Supplied in 50 ft rolls
- Height: 48" (4 ft) tall
- Available in black
- Plastic mesh
- 3/4" openings
To contain chicks and ducklings when they are too small to be contained by PoultryNet.
Also use to keep free-range flocks out of flower beds, gardens, patios, roadways, etc.
How to Use
- NoShock can be used either as a temporary, semi-permanent or permanent fence.
- Posts can be woven through the mesh every 10 ft for a temporary fence. At any corner you will need an extra support post (FiberTuff, steel T post or wooden post) (not supplied)
- NoShock can also be stapled or zip-tied to wood/metal posts for a permanent poultry run.
Chicks and ducklings are too small to be contained by PoultryNet. Why? The spacings at the bottom of the net are too large and the birds make a poor electrical connection (too light).
That’s why we’re introducing a tighter, nonelectrifiable alternative to PoultryNet with “chick-stop” openings to keep in chicks, ducklings, etc.
Rodents and animals may chew on non-electrified fences causing damage to the fence.
